Solarite Wire and Cable Compounds
- Technologies: Waxes, Hot Melts, Silicones, Specialty & Rubber Modified Asphalts, Solvent and Water Based Coatings, Butyl and Polyolefin Sealants.
- Applications: Strand Sealing, Cable Valley Sealants, Water Blocking, Water Absorbing, Coating, Saturating, Flooding.
Technologically advanced materials for coating the outside of cable jackets and sealing of interior strands. Used in high voltage power cables, mil-spec cables, undersea and industrial cables throughout the world. Products are designed to impart flame retardancy, semi conductivity, low smoke generation and high temperature resistance.
Electrical Potting and Encapsulating Compounds
- Technologies: Epoxies, RTV Silicones, Urethanes, Hot Melts, Waxes, Urethanes, Specialty Asphalts.
- Applications: Power Supplies, Transformers, Switches, Relays, Timers, Ballasts, Capacitors, Sensors, Cast Coils.
A comprehensive range of 1 & 2 component materials with excellent dielectric properties, fire retardancy, thermal conductivity, high arc/track resistance, adhesion, thermal shock resistance and service temperatures up to 200° C.
