Magna-Tac E645 is easy to handle and gives excellent finished properties which make it the ideal choice for applications such as motors. Using E645 has proven to be a better option than welding as it provides superior performance qualities for motors.

E645 epoxy is a one part thermosetting epoxy, however it is packaged in two separate cans to maximize shelf life. When mixing part A and part B together monitor the ratio to preserve the integrity of the adhesive. E645 is commonly used in Stack Lamination assembly.

Magna-Tac E645’s viscosity lends itself to several different methods of application making it suitable for almost any form of production or scale up stage. Stack laminations can be roller coated, vacuum impregnated, dipped, sprayed or pad printed with E645. When choosing an application method ensure that the adhesive is evenly distributed among the different layers and parts.

An important note, before curing the lamination, the adhesive itself-must dry completely, which can be done at room temperature or by forced drying in circulating air ovens. The product can then be cured by raising the oven temperature. You can refer to the cure schedule linked here for exact numbers.
