Description

Magna-Tac® TR-8899 (Cross reference to 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2290) is a one part formulated thermosetting epoxy designed to adhere metals and alloys in transformer cores, as well as electric motor rotors and stators.

▶ Particularly suited for applications where bonded parts will be subjected to shock, stress, or impact — such as during a process that requires grinding, cutting, or forming.

▶ A translucent amber, low viscosity (50cps) adhesive. Generally applied by roller, dipping, or spray.

▶ Once cured Magna-Tac® TR-8899 exhibits lap shear strength of 4500 PSI as per ASTM D1002.
